Ashley Eliza Williams

Ashley’s art studio is more of a lab where she uses her findings in nature to create (discover?) a new dimension. Process-wise, she likes her paintings to unfold like maps, she likes to bring her art back outside to nature and she uses her artwork as the actual palette, keeping as much of the experiment alive in the finished work as possible. Who I’m Reading

Dave Eggers has a new book (not for kids only) and I’m obsessed with it. The Eyes and the Impossible is a chapter book about a coyote living in Golden Gate Park, though the author never explicitly says so. The coyote is the Eyes of the park and he reports his findings to the bison. The book comes in hardcover or wood-cover. A truly special book.
