For me, this work celebrates autumn before the leaves do their final wiggle and fall to the ground, before the water freezes and we bundle up and hunker down in the greys of winter. Giordanne paints the way the world outside feels after you sit alone in a windowless room painting trees for a while. You go outside and without any wind, you can see nature moving.
