Stephanie Dinkins & N’TOO

Stephanie Dinkins is an AI artist. By feeding in the works of Tony Morrison, her own family history and her own ideas about the future of AI, she created an AI called “Not the Only One” (N’TOO) and in N’TOO’s own words, “ I am about broad engagement and attracting people to the AI space who might not be there otherwise. I am trying to model different ways of creating AI. I encourage people who think that they are not a part of the technological future to get involved.” Stephanie built N’TOO using Tensorflow. Kyle Coniglio

Kyle’s portraits are about his experience as a queer man. He began painting before he had the words to express how he felt about his identity, using art to navigate and understand his emerging sense of self. His characters, modeled on his own face and “doughy body”, invite viewers to connect emotionally, like new friends. Inspired by how cartoons break into song when words fall short, Kyle uses campy colors to convey intense emotions in his paintings. Learn more about Kyle here.
